May Membership Meeting
In 2020, Missouri had the third highest per capita rate of gun deaths in the country. Kansas City, on both sides of the state line, continues to experience historic levels of gun violence. Join us this month to find out how to get involved in actions aimed at reducing gun violence. Not a member? No problem, membership meetings are open to the general public.
Rosilyn Temple, Founder KC Mothers in Charge, will speak about gun violence in Kansas City and how you can get involved in community advocacy.
Julie Holland, KCMO Elections & Legislative Lead from Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, will give us an updated on legislative measures in Missouri and Kansas.
Note: General membership meetings are typically held the 4th Thursday of every month.
